Head PGA Professional Paul Glut
Paul grew up in Smithtown, Long Island. He joined the United States Marine Corps after high school and spent four years serving our country. He began his golf career at the collegiate level playing for SUNY Farmingdale. It was in college where Paul decided to become a golf professional and started his career at the Meadowbrook Hunt Club. Paul was the assistant golf professional there for 8 years before becoming the head professional at Island Hills Golf Club 12 years. Paul comes to Woodside Club ready to bring a new and exciting golf experience to our growing membership.
Golf Course Superintendent Ryan VonSteenburg
Ryan graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, with a degree in Turfgrass Management. Prior to accepting this position, he served as Assistant Superintendent at the Tam O’Shanter Club. Ryan brings over 12 years’ experience and a proven track record of success in the industry, which will be invaluable in meeting the goal of restoring Woodside Club golf course to pristine condition. We are confident that Ryan will be an excellent match for this position and a strong asset to the Woodside Club team.
